NAMB Church Planting Catalyst 

In California: (2015- February 2020)  (CPC) Preached, taught, and cast a church planting vision for Southern California.  By God’s grace worked with 46 new churches in my ministry area with a 98% success rate.  Organized and implemented a “Church Multiplication School” in Los Angeles in 2017 that trained pastors from 100 churches. Developed and built a church planting website www.Pray4LA.com. Director of NAMB LA Assessment Center.  Worked in a great team of eleven CPC’s to implement all aspects of NAMB’s church planting system for Kingdom expansion.

In Hawaii: (February 2010-2015) (DOM/CPC) Preached and led our pastors and churches to implement Acts 1:8 which, during my tenure, resulted in an increase of 53% in overall weekly worship attendance in association churches, a 61% increase in giving to the Association, and a 120% increase in annual baptisms among association churches.  This all happened in a previously stagnant association with a declining economy and very little population growth.  Researched, contextualized, and implemented a successful church planting team and strategy called Hawaii Church Planting, along with a website.  Directly facilitated the start of 10 new church plants from 2013-2015, with others in the works. Discovered and secured mainland Associations, churches, and individuals to help finance, and partner with church planting in Hawaii.

Senior Pastor/Church Planter – Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, Kona, Hawaii (December 2003 - April 2010)

Led church to grow by 80+ attenders in the first year after our Grand Opening.  Worked in step with God to see 27 baptisms that year with more in subsequent years.  Trained and developed leaders. Organized teams to do ministry according to individual giftedness.  Used innovative outreach events to bring people to Jesus.  

Senior Pastor—Clarkdale Baptist Church, Clarkdale, Arizona, (August 2002 - December 2003)

 Upon specific mandate and 100% vote of church, led church to a more blended style of worship to reach a larger demographic.  Helped church to organize and plan through a healthy Church Council.  Led Church Council to discover how each leader’s personality can work best using the DiSC Personality Profile.  Promoted healing for many wounded church members through a Forgiveness Seminar and biblical teaching.  Expanded ministry involvement through Block Parties, VBS, Acts Of Kindness, and “Summer Of Ministry” projects.

Senior Pastor/Church Planter – Forest Hills Community Church, Sammamish, Washington, (Aug. 1997 - Aug. 2002)

 Led church to grow by 70+ attendees in the first year after our Grand Opening.  Discovered and developed  members and leaders through a vast array of events, activities, and personal contacts.  Identified critical mileposts in the strategic planning process and set goals to reach them.  Reached the community with quality children’s events like VBS, Sports Camps, and Music/Drama Camps.  Recruited and equipped teams and leaders to carry out the work of Evangelism, Ministry, Discipleship, Fellowship, and Worship.

Senior Pastor – Bluff Dale Baptist Church, Bluff Dale, Texas  (November 1994 - August 1997)

Salvation and baptism rate highest in church history.  Supervision of and strategic planning with staff.  Led church to form Church Council, to research and become incorporated, and to research and develop a Biblical Purpose Statement.  Began strategic planning according to Biblical Purpose Statement.  Total Mission giving was 22.5% of undesignated receipts.
