Pastor Nathan and Sarah Walters

Nathan and Sarah both graduated from the University of South Florida and Nathan went on to attend seminary in Fort Worth, Texas where he received his Master of Divinity degree in Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Nathan served as associate pastor of Fairview Community Church in Copperas Cove, TX and senior pastor of Ocqueoc Baptist Church.

Nathan and Sarah have a heart for the people of West Oahu and sincerely desire God's many blessings for Hawaii.  They moved to Hawaii in 2019 with their children and immediately got plugged into the Gathering Mililani. While there Nathan served as worship leader for the Gathering's UH ministry, Citywide.

With the advent of COVID the Gathering was no longer able to meet in person and so, Nathan and Sarah began attending Calvary Chapel Pearl Harbor. They became very involved serving with the worship team, AWANA, and Nathan would fill in at times for Pastor Derald Skinner. 

In January of 2026 God called Nathan and Sarah to take on the young church plant, Connections Church in Kapolei. Nathan and Sarah are excited to see what God is going to do in the next chapter of Connections Church. They have a vision of a Church that is filled with the love of Christ. A place where people feel like family. They believe Jesus is the answer for the world today and that the best way to get to know Him is through His Word and His people. Nathan preaches expositionally through the Word and believes that it can transform the hardest of hearts as well as the broken hearted.
